He received his Undergraduate Education at top ranked Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC.  He attended Medical School at the prestigious top ranked University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC.

Dr. Mervin Low completed Plastic Surgery Residency Training at the highly ranked University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, MB.  Following residency training, a Breast Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship was completed at the distinguished Georgetown University in Washington, DC and an Asian Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship was completed at the famous University of Hawaii/Plastic Surgery Center of the Pacific in Honolulu, HI. These prestigious fellowships were directed by world renowned Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Mervin Low recently published a groundbreaking six volume textbook on Advanced Wound Care. He has also published articles and textbook chapters on Aesthetic and Reconstructive Breast surgery, Body Contouring surgery and Wound Healing. In addition, he has been selected to speak at national Plastic Surgery symposiums and conferences. He is on the medical editorial review board of prestigious university hospitals and a national online publishing firm providing patient education in Plastic Surgery and Wound Healing.
